This is an old blog – created when I was defiantly a Conservative.  Possibly the only one from Hull.  Hence the name. Now there are more Conservatives in Hull.  And I am no longer a Conservative. The BBC often annoy me with the left-leaning political coverage, but they took it to new levels during the election campaign. Originally when I about 10 years old, it was just because I preferred the colour blue. Now it is because I want the economy to be repaired. I want a bright, prosperous future for the country I live in, and love. I fully believe that Labour ruined the country in the 1970’s (3 days a week of electricity, rubbish piled in streets, the country was bankrupt and known as the “sick-man of Europe”).
